Samsung Galaxy Note: Revamp Of The Phone Tablet Sector

Over the years, cell phones have gotten smaller and smaller. In fact, it used to be "cool" to have the smallest possible phone. Today, however, smart phones are moving back into the bigger range and offering more computing power to attract new customers that are wanting tablet-features in their phones. Samsung answered this call with their Galaxy Note, a tablet-phone hybrid that offers users everything they have come to love from a smart phone with the added bonuses of tablet features as well.
If you aren't familiar with the Galaxy Note, here are some of the features that make it stand out from the rest of the cell phone pack:
1. Size: You may have already noticed that the Galaxy Note is much larger than other cell phones out there. The dimensions of the phone measure 5.87X3.27X0.38 inches, and the display screen is over 5 inches itself. Even some of the larger smart phones out there only measure around 4 inches total, so the overall size difference may take some getting used to.
2. Display: As I mentioned, the display size of the Galaxy Note is 5.3 inches, meaning that you have a very large display to enjoy. Gamers will love the huge display as it provides maximum game play enjoyment, those that love to watch videos will also enjoy the huge screen as well as the clear graphics. And for those that need to work on documents or emails on the go will also enjoy the large screen size so you can view everything you need without constant scrolling and zooming in and out.
3. Camera: One of the wonderful things about the Galaxy Note is the 8 megapixel camera that offers all sorts of great ways to take pictures. There is a full range of features on the camera, from autofocus to LED flash, touch focus, face and smile detection, and even an image stabilizer. You will also find different finishes that you can select, such as sports, portraits, and more.
4. Memory: The Galaxy Note also offers a large memory for those that love massive room on their phones. They come with an internal memory of 16 GB with the ability to add in a microSD card for up to 32GB more. This will be a plus for those that take a lot of pictures, load a lot of games, watch movies, and utilize the document readers on the phone.
For those that are considering a small tablet, the Galaxy Note offers everything you could possibly want in one. Tablet users will enjoy that the Galaxy Note comes pre-loaded with a document program that will read and create Word, Excell, and other data documents. You can easily create, email, open, and change documents right from your phone with ease. The fast processors in the Galaxy Note also allow you minimum down time when downloading or creating documents.
Those that are wanting a tablet for gaming or movies will enjoy the speed of the phone as well. The phone plays HD movies with ease and provides a viewing experience just like a larger flat screen TV. Gamers, with all of the great HD mobile games out there, you will be able to enjoy some of the best tablet games around on the Galaxy Note. From 3D to HD games, there is nothing that will look bad on this phone.
It is the overall size of the Galaxy Note that is both a plus and a minus. For those not used to larger phones, you will have to get used to the size of this large tablet phone. If you are familiar with smaller tablets, you may have to get used to a smaller one when using the Note. Overall, once you get used to the size of the phone itself, it is hard to work, play games, or watch movies on any other smart phone.
