The Top Ten Horror Movies That I Have NOT Seen

I'm a huge fan of horror and I love binge watching horror movies either at the theater or in the comfort of my own home. But as the years go by, I realize that I have seen so many of the best ones that it's hard to find those hidden gems.
At this point I've seen every NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, every FRIDAY THE 13th, the entire HALLOWEEN and SAW series and more HELLRAISER films than I'd like to admit. I've seen everything by John Carpenter, Dario Argento, George Romero, David Cronenberg and everything even loosely based on a Stephen King or Clive Barker novel.
I've scoured NETFLIX for new movies I might not of heard of, but most of their stuff is so bottom of the barrel that two minutes in I'm bored and stopping the movie. They should call it NEXT-FLIX.
My favorite Horror are the story-based ones that have good characters that I can actually care about. Films like THE EXORCIST, THE OMEN, NEAR DARK, JACOB'S LADDER, THE DESCENT and most recently THE CONJURING.
But it seems more and more these days that those movies are fewer and far between and the farther I dig into the every-growing pile the more crap I'm finding. Even recent films that were supposed to be new and different have been big disappointments. I'm talking to you V/H/S!!!
I actually wouldn't mind looking at some deep cuts from the past. Classic movies from the 70s and 80s, hell even the 90s that I might have missed or didn't even know existed. The movies don't have to be new; they just have to be good and scary.
Luckily I just stumbled upon this new website that if you're like me, you might want to check out. It's not just about Horror, but that's okay as I like other genres as well. It's called OFF WORLD VIEW and run by some guy named Paul Salamoff who supposedly worked in the FILM & TV biz for a longtime. I did some checking up on him and he seems legit. He used to do make-up FX and actually worked on a lot of horror movies that I liked, so I'll give him points for that.
His website is all about recommending movies that you should watch. He does do movie reviews in a section called MOVIE A DAY, but the site seems more focused on a section called MUST SEE MOVIES. You can pick a genre and it gives you a list of cool movies to check out with posters and trailers. You can even buy the movies on Amazon but I kind of wish he would have links to stream or download the movies instead. (Maybe he'll read this and take my suggestion).
Anyway, The site looks new as there are still some sections "COMING SOON" but I've checked back a few times and it seems like new content is going up almost every day. The Horror section is by decade and subgenres but most are not posted yet. What is posted are pretty decent suggestions. There were a couple of movies from the 1970s that I hadn't seen. Also It's kind of fun watching the old trailers even for films I've seen. They don't make them like that anymore. Really creepy!
