I just received an email report from a company called e-marketer. The report was posted on September 14th, 2010.
You are not going to believe this. According to a recent survey conducted by e-Marketer (see full report below) online marketers are enthusiastic to use video marketing. The majority of people are saying that they have a problem sending a video email..
What!!! Is this a joke? Please direct those people to my attention! I'll concede that when video was first emerging on the internet there was a challenge to compress video to a managable file size so that it could be either downloaded or streamed. Are people really having a problem sending a silly and simple video email. It would be pretty hypocritical of me to say that putting video into an email is easy and not actually demonstrate doing so using video!
I am now on a campaign to show people the light!
I could understand that people might have had a problem putting video into an email if it was 1995. But, not in 2010 for crying out loud.
We should be flying in little spaceships by now, not struggling on how to send a video email.
Technology has changed dramatically and you can now place a video email in less than 1 minute. Let me share with you my video that demonstrates how to do excatly that.
The saying, "don't believe everything you read" is completely true in this case.
Let me also state that I realize that this is not e-marketers fault.
They are only reporting the findings of the survey that was conducted.
I guess I should more frustrated at myself for not sharing how to implement video into emails with more people. I hope this video clearly illustrates my point.
Learn how you start sending video emails and incorporating video into your marketing in less than a minute too!
Peace,
Ray
