Growing Weed Indoor Video Tips: Pruning

Welcome BACK FRIENDS
PRIMO here,
And TODAY we have a VERY special episode for you about growing weed indoor.
WE'RE going to talk about PRUNING your CANNABIS plants.
CAREFUL pruning is ESSENTIAL
To MAXIMIZE the flower YIELD of your plants,
PRUNING is also helpful to allow GOOD AIR FLOW
AND it will help you control PESTS,
As most plant pests THRIVE in STAGNANT air.
So LOTS to talk about, let's get RIGHT to it.
Meet one of my GIRLFRIENDS.
Her name is #9, #9, #9, #9.
And she is a 4 WEEK OLD clone,
That was TRANSPLANTED into THIS bucket one week ago.
A CLONE is a PIECE of a plant
That was basically CHOPPED off, PUT in DIRT,
And over the last month,
has ROOTED and STARTED to grow.
We'll talk more about CLONING and TRANSPLANTING
in later episodes.
NOW, let's have a CLOSER look at #9
NOTICE how she is BASICALLY ONE stem
Growing STRAIGHT up.
But you'll ALSO see these CLUMPS of leaves
THESE will BECOME SEVERAL BRANCHES
Giving you SEVERAL flower tops,
If you PRUNE HER NOW or very soon.
(use a pointer)
HERE'S how we do it.
Take a CLOSE look at the very TOP of the plant.
See these different NODES of LEAF CLUMPS?
We want to PRUNE at least the top TWO nodes.
If you ONLY prune the VERY TOP node,
She MAY NOT branch out,
and just continue to GROW STRAIGHT UP
So ONE, TWO nodes,
SNIP,
AND YOUR DONE.
With GOOD lighting,
Your plant will look SOMETHING like THIS bushy gal

About 4 WEEKS later
You can see how our FIRST PRUNE has caused
SEVERAL STRONG stems to EMERGE.
Now, this plant is POISED to produce MANY TOP BUDS
Instead of just one.
However, this plant is also now FULL of SMALLER LOWER branches
That will NEVER reach the CANOPY,
And will GENERALLY produce FLUFFY WISPY flowers,
That we call SCHWAG. No-one LIKES SCHWAG,
And if we REMOVE these LOWER BRANCHES now, growing weed indoor,
It will send ALL that GROWING JUICE UP to the HIGHER branches.
So HERE we go.
I KNOW it can be painful and EVEN a little COUNTER-INTUITIVE
To HACK away at a GORGEOUS plant,
But, it's FOR HER'S and FOR YOUR, ultimate good.
And here SHE IS with her NEW HAIRCUT.
Eat your HEART out Supercuts.
This LITTLE BEAUTY is now ready to go UNDER the bloom lights
IF you WANT,
In OUR garden, we like to let them get a LITTLE bigger.
We let them GROW for another MONTH or so,
Resulting in ABOUT a THREE FOOT plant, ready to bloom
BEFORE we move her to BLOOM, however, we give her ONE FINAL PRUNE.
You'll notice that SOME prune points,
from a MONTH AGO have grown back.
All that HAS TO GO.
I take ONE FINAL OVERALL look to see if there's ANYHTING left
That will NEVER make it to the CANOPY
And will THEREFORE, produce only SCHWAG.
Lobbing these branches off HURTS the most
But it MUST BE DONE.
It's feels like a ROTTEN SHAME to waste such a BIG BRANCH like this
So you COULD TRY to CLONE this piece.
I'd give a LOWER BRANCH like this a 50-50 CHANCE
of TAKING ROOT and GROWING into a NEW plant,
But WASTE not, WANT not.
And that's IT. This LIGHT BATHING BEAUTY
is NOW READY to BLOOM.
She will ALMOST DOUBLE in SIZE in BLOOM
And will produce THE FINEST CHRONIC MEDICINE
ALL OVER these REMAINING branches.
What could be more satisfying than to
